Have you ever woke up and looked at your dog and wonder what they dream about? What they think about when they watch us? My two Yorkies, Michael and Gabriel spend quite a bit of their day napping but when they are awake…..
They wake up with a big yawn and a stretch as they look at each other unimpressed. Jumping off the bed as I get up they look at me as if to say ” get moving, we gotta pee.”
I slip my feet into my slippers, grab my robe and head to the sliding door to let them out. Once the door is open Michael is like, “get the fuck outta here, I’m going first out the door Gabriel.”
Gabriel, being the smaller of the two lets his big brother go first but once outside Gabriel jumps on Michaels back and tries to dry hump him. Gabriel looks quite impressed with himself and looks like he is saying “Ok my little bitch Im going to slip you a winky.”
Of course Gabriel never does but he does dry hump Michael for three consecutive thrusts. Once they sniff the ground Michael decides to pee on the porch wall and then of course Gabriel has to follow and pee on top of Michaels pee.
Gabriel is funny as it looks like he is telling Michael, “my piss out ways your piss, na na nana na.” I open the sliding door and they both rush in saying “momma its damn cold out there!”
We exit my bedroom and the boys run to the sliding glass door in the dining room. Seeing the squirrels outside Michael looks out and back at Gabriel. If he could speak he would be saying “Hey Gabriel, I think you and I could beat the shit out of those squirrels if we work together” and Gabriel looks at Michael and says “sure we could but you always abandon me, which sucks as I am left to fend for myself.”
As they bark at the squirrels Luna our cat decides to sit with them and stare at the squirrels and our other cat Khloe does a chatter when she sees the birds eating seed. The three of them cause quit a ruckus at times as they get playing.
Michael gingerly walks to the couch and jumps up and Gabriel follows suit. They have to “fluff up” the blanket on the couch and once satisfied they lie down and curl up. Later in the day when I walk by the door they look at me as if to tell me “open the damn door already or I’m going to piss on the chair leg.”
At times, I get distracted and have to answer the phone or door and the boys say to me ” ok, you want to play, we can play” as they proceed to lift their legs next to the chair leg and leave a dribble of pee.
After cleaning up their reminder of who really runs my house I sit down and they jump up to lie next to me. I pet their curled up bodies as I watch tv, read emails ect. It’s funny how they twitch in their sleep or whimper and I wonder what they are dreaming about.
Once they wake up they want a treat, dont ask me what they did to deserve it because in a dog’s world treats are given just because they exist. I give Michael his treat and he jumps up on the couch and enjoys it.
Now Gabriel he trots off with the look of satisfaction on his face, he carries his treat to his cage and buries it among his blanket. He looks at Luna and tells her ” listen you little bitch, if you touch my treat I will kick your pussy ass all over.”
Once Gabriel feels his treat is secure until he returns he comes back and sits next to me. He sees Khloe near his cage and he jumps off and attacks her. “I told you bitch stay away from my cage but you wont listen.”
“You give me no choice but to attack your furry ass” and he does exactly that. He watches over his hidden treat and growls every time Khloe or Luna get near the cage. He finally gets jealous that Michael is next to me and he joins us.
The day continues and they play and fight a little until night fall. The dogs have internal timers that tell them it’s time to go to bed. Every night at 9 p.m. they head off to my bed and await their last treat for the night.
I walk into the bedroom and they give me that look, you know that look your pet gives you when they want something. Their faces are so damn cute I cannot help but want to give them anything they want.
As they watch me walk into the room they give me that look as if to say “yep, you got it time for bedy by momma.” I slip them their treats and get comfortable under the covers as Michael snuggles up to my back and Gabriel behind my knees.
